A digital product business with a penchant for smart cities. Our flagship product is Passenger (, which is currently storming the public transport market. As a result we’re scaling the team around it.

At Base you will be part of an integrated team of makers and doers, who thrive on the satisfaction of a job well done, across a variety of projects and clients. Passenger is rolled out in over a dozen places across the UK. It’ll be your job to build on this success by sharing our mission to redefine the customer experience of public transport with the widest possible audience.

1st class marketeer

You’ll be a dab hand at communicating complicated things in ways that everyone can understand. Your broad marketing experience will have been gained from years of building audiences in previous roles.

You’ll understand the power of design, brand and tone of voice when it comes to building trust with both existing customers and new ones. You’ll have responsibility for bringing every touch point of our business to life, and will relish the challenge of making us stand out from companies that seemingly deliver the same things.

Voracious appetite

You're a self-starter, doer and soak up new ideas and techniques like a sponge. You have a fantastic enthusiasm for today's technologies and tools, keeping up to date with modern technology and loving all things digital, in print, on TV and beyond.

You’ll know the best digital technology products use a combination of touch points to make a difference to users; native app, web app, wearables and engaging content.

Confident communicator, jargon translator

You’ll be confident writing and delivering presentations, which represent the best of what we produce. You’ll have a handle on the technical jargon that comes with building technology, but you’ll be able to turn it into language that everyone can understand at all levels of our customer’s business.

As an marketing professional you’ll understand that apps are an important part of our daily lives, but features come second to benefits when communicating why our business customers should buy into our technology.

Advertising ace

Digital is now the norm when it comes to product marketing and we use tools such as Google Analytics, Campaign Monitor and social media advertising platforms to reach those that might benefit from what we offer.

Looking around you

You’re passionate about keeping up to date with trends in technology and identifying opportunities to be at the forefront of innovation in our chosen industries. You’ll show good awareness of direct competitors and their approach to customer acquisition. You’ll be inspired by great campaigns in other industries, and know how to adapt the ideas to create something stand out in our own marketplace.

Taking a stand

Exhibitions, conferences and innovation events are an important part of showcasing our products. Here you’ll show your experience by project managing attendance, travel and any accommodation needed to provide you with a home from home.

You’ll also be comfortable staging events for the team and our customers, knowing that these are opportunities to strengthen relationships and build trust in our products and people. Running these in a variety of locations makes it easier for our customers to be involved, so you’ll be happy finding inspiration venues that are easy to get to around the UK.

Keen eye, tuned ear

An eye for detail and a high standard of output is important to the success of the role. We’ve developed a market leading suite of digital products, and you’ll be instrumental in shaping the strategy that makes us impossible for customers to ignore.
